How you can help
leave your dog at home when
you visit a national park;
find out the location of local council reserves where
you can exercise your dog; report any sighting of dogs
in a national park to the nearest NPWS office;
explain to friends why dogs are not allowed in national
parks.
With your help we can protect and
conserve the natural environment for everyone to enjoy.
For more information about national
parks contact the NPWS Information Centre (02) 9585
6333 or your nearest NPWS office.
Park Fees
To help maintain and protect our
National Parks as community assets, the NSW National
Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is asking visitors
to help with the cost of providing visitor facilities.
Funds raised through visitor fees
are used locally to maintain and manage facilities and
services. This frees up more NPWS funds for pest, fire
and weed management and for other programs to protect
threatened and endangered species.
Annual passes are available
through NPWS offices, or by calling 1300 361 967. |
